  • Overview

    The System Specialist supports the MyWebGrocer end-user community, through support of PCs and Macs, by maintaining hardware and software solutions, resolving related technical issues, providing technical continuity to the business end users and ensuring customer satisfaction.


    ●     Provide help desk support and resolve problems for the end user.

         Monitor and respond quickly to requests received thru help desk ticketing system.

         Assist with drive-by, urgent needs as required.

         Maintain all aspects of local workstations, including hardware, operating system, software applications, etc.

         Provide support services for several internal tools used by development, operations, and the entire organization.

         Maintain conference room configurations for audio/video needs

         PC set up and deployment for new employees

         Provide orientation and training to new end users

         Work with Systems and Purchasing teams as necessary to support company needs.

         Monitoring of backup data processes

         Maintain complete documentation as required.


    Formal Education & Certification

    • University degree in computer science or software engineering and/or [2] years equivalent work experience. 

    Knowledge & Experience

    • PC operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS.
    • Laptop set up and troubleshooting experience
    • Experience with core software applications.
    • Software troubleshooting experience.
    • Understands the organization’s goals and objectives.
    • Understands data privacy practices and laws.
