    MWG is recruiting for an exceptional digital media sales executive to join our expanding Sales team.  This position will focus on driving revenue and building strategic relationships directly with CPG clients, and top agency executives. The ideal candidate must have proven success in driving revenue and meeting/exceeding revenue goals in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. We are looking for a consultative sales professional, preferably with CPG experience that can make a direct and immediate impact. You will be supported by our operations team and benefit from working alongside the sales leadership team.

    Responsibilities

    • Selling, negotiating, and executing business plans through fact-based selling techniques to achieve win-win results with both the CPG companies and their ad and shopper agencies
    • Meet or exceed revenue growth with existing CPG customers in specified target market verticals, through phone, email communication and face-to-face meetings.
    • Possess a deep understanding of client marketing goals and have the ability to customize digital solutions to meet them.
    • Prospect, develop, negotiate and close new and established CPG accounts
    • Interact with a broad set of businesses and have great Presentation skills both over the phone and in person
    • Cultivate and reinforce ad agency relationships while increasing advertising revenue.
    • Act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients
    • Lead generation by using your cold-calling experience, networking and prospecting skills to identify, develop and manage new accounts that will complement our existing CPG client roster and help you reach your personal revenue targets.

    Qualifications

    • Understand and contribute to achieving internal goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
    • 2 years CPG category sales experience (selling to agencies and direct clients)
    • 3 years total digital advertising sales experience, programmatic and/or search
    • Communication and client management skills with a track record building long term partnerships with top tier clients.
    • Experience in digital media and technology a must. CPG and/or Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
    • Analytical expertise with the ability to leverage and utilize behavioral/shopping data to support the sale.
    • Keenly aware and comfortable identifying customer needs through consultative style selling.
    • Strong ability to manage large volume of outbound calls.
    • Communicate effectively with senior level managers.
    • The ability to work on your own and also as part of a larger team
    • Sharp business sense, resourceful, and goal oriented.
    • Familiarity with CRM software, specifically Salesforce, DoubleClick/DART.
    • Ability to travel to client locations for sales meetings as needed.
    • Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenues
    • Strong track record of high level negotiation
    • Successful internal and external relationship management
    • Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and presenting both over the phone and in person
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
    • Attend relevant trade shows
