The Jr. Marketing Analyst role is responsible for providing reporting and insights for the advertising campaign effectiveness and digital marketing programs that MWG runs for both CPG and grocery retail clients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and business presentation writing skills, as well as the ability to work with many forms of data, both structured and unstructured.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ROI analysis for digital advertising campaigns and marketing programs, using a variety of data sources but primarily retailer sales data. Produce well- written campaign summaries for clients, primarily using power point.
  • Help support team on custom research projects using first party data. Digest project goals, and key measures to determine the data set, produce metrics and analyze data to provide value and insights for the client.
  • Provide general analysis on a variety of MyWebGrocer marketing initiatives such as the corporate website, consumer and client surveys, and industry trends.
  • Work with the Insights and Business Intelligence teams to identify new opportunities to enhance reporting metrics, create new report types and promote data initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related experience, ideally in the digital, consumer packaged goods marketing or advertising area.
  • Strong analytical and reporting, business writing and project management skills required.
  • Excellent written communication and data visualization skills a must.
  • Effective time management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Pivot Tables and Power Point required, some knowledge of SQL would be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Market Research or related field of study; or equivalent experience.
