MyWebGrocer is looking for a seasoned individual with an eye for detail to join our Shopper Marketing Team as an Account Executive to support one of our strategic retail partners, Giant Eagle.  He/She will work closely with our internal Shopper Marketing, CPG Sales, Account Strategy, and Advertising Operations Teams in addition to the Giant Eagle Marketing, Merchandising and Digital/Social Teams to help execute Giant Eagle specific digital advertising campaigns for consumer packaged goods (CPG) clients.


The Account Executive will act as a liaison between MWG, Giant Eagle, and CPG clients to ensure timely and successful campaign execution.  He/She will build positive and influential relationships with CPG clients and the Giant Eagle Teams through fluid communication to drive CPG ad sales for Giant Eagle and MyWebGrocer. 


  • Pre-sale responsibilities include compiling market research, creating relevant campaign recommendations, conducting client meetings/calls, and building campaign proposals.
  • Sales responsibilities include prospecting, securing meetings, presenting proposals/recommendations, and closing new and existing business.
  • Pre-campaign responsibilities include ensuring all campaign assets and details are passed to the appropriate teams – this will entail educating others on campaign requirements to ensure a timely launch and successful campaign delivery.
    • Work directly with the MWG Account Strategist Team and CPG clients/agencies to verify the collection, organization and management of all campaign assets and deliverables.
    • Strategize and aid in the development of advertising content, such as creative, ad landing pages, and video assets; coordinate graphics requests and campaign creative services as needed.
  • Live campaign period responsibilities include delivering weekly reports to CPG clients – presenting relevant optimization recommendations when appropriate.
    • Work with the MWG Account Strategist Team, Ad Operations, and Analytics Teams to facilitate trafficking, pacing, troubleshooting, and reporting throughout campaign period.
    • Effectively oversee campaign inventory to ensure full campaign delivery.
    • Work with MWG Account Strategist Team to monitor overall campaign performance, ensuring benchmarks are met and exceeded wherever possible.
  • Post-sales responsibilities include proactively engaging with customers to identify risk and growth opportunities, developing strategies to retain our existing client base and maximize revenue growth.


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S).
  • A self-starter with an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Highly motivated to drive new business
  • Ability to sell digital media, track record of achieving goals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven Account Management skills – customer service, cultivating/maintaining client relationships, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer and internet skills; Windows platform and web based applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be proactive and work with a minimum amount of supervision, as well as part of a larger team.
  • Problem solving skills are necessary to efficiently manage and resolve client concerns.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Experience working with digital advertising, advertising sales, at an advertising agency and/or in a customer support role is preferred.
