The analyst for the MyWebGrocer DevOps team will work with stakeholders to develop requirements, decompose high level milestones to tasks and manage JIRA projects and boards. The analyst will lead daily scrums for Kanban or Agile Scrum based teams. Candidates must possess strong technical and communication skills.


The MWG DevOps Team is an creative and fast paced cross-disciplinary team focused on operating, upgrading and optimizing the MWG suite of products and infrastructure. The team manages infrastructure, optimizes and operates application software and deploys new product releases to the production environment.  This team is passionate about collaboration and continually pushing the envelope for quality and highly available systems.  



  • Lead daily scrum for Kanban or Agile teams and obtain status updates.
  • Track progress and report on team projects and tasks.
  • Compile technical details on projects and tasks for hand off to developers.
  • Manage and maintain issue tracking systems.
  • Assist in defect validation and verification.
  • Coordinate release activities.
  • Curate release documentation, including  organizational readiness documents and internal communication of releases.
  • Engage internal subject matter experts for direction and clarification on resolution of issues.
  • Collaboratively prioritize issues for the team and remediate or escalate any blockers.
  • Partner  with developers to procure documentation on issue resolution and software configuration and setup.
  • Verify developers adherence to specifications.
  • Primary meeting documentation responsibilities.
  • Gathering business and technical requirements.
  • Ensure documentations is procured by the team.
  • Participate in Sprint planning.



  • Bachelor or masters degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years software systems design and analysis work with extensive experience on large scale systems.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web based applications.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract low level information to general understanding and form an appropriate solution.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Ability to context switch and multitask.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks based on various stakeholder driven criteria.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • A self starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Evidence of leadership competencies including self confidence, results orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking skills including deductive reasoning and creative abstraction.
