We are looking for experienced QA Engineers to grow our Vermont based R&D Engineering team!

Responsibilities

  • Analyze software requirements and design specifications
  • Work within an Agile environment with local and remote software development and operations teams
  • Create, execute, maintain and implement functional, application and acceptance tests
  • Perform exploratory testing
  • Generate statistics and reporting on test types, results and application quality
  • Log and report bugs and defects with detail and clear steps to reproduce
  • Root cause analysis of defects and bugs
  • Mentor, assist and train others as needed
  • Work with back end databases, services, APIs and front end GUI applications and libraries
  • Assist in developing test plans and strategies 
  • Participate in sprint planning and estimations
  • Clearly and constructively communicate concerns and risks

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience Desired:

  • Understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Experience using source control like SVN and GIT
  • Microsoft SQL database knowledge
  • Experience in software testing web applications, APIs and services
  • Experience in agile methodologies
  • Understanding of software architectures and concepts
  • Understanding of networking architecture and computer systems
